Germany has appeared in the most finals throughout the tournament's history. In its history, the European country has reached eight FIFA World Cup finals and has won four World Cup tournaments.
Brazil is the best team in FIFA World Cup history. The South Americans have won the prestigious trophy five times, but they have only reached the final seven times in the tournament's history.
Italy and Argentina have reached the FIFA World Cup final six times in their history. After defeating France in the final, the latter won the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Argentina has only won two FIFA World Cup titles, while Italy has won the tournament four times in six final appearances.

Who is Maxi Oyedele?
Maxi Oyedele made his Manchester United under-18 debut in 2021, at the age of 16, against Derby County.
Oyedele is a versatile central midfielder who is strong defensively while also looking to get into the final third and make an impact.
Last season, he scored four goals for the under-18 team, including one in the FA Youth Cup third round win over Rochdale, which he scored from the edge of the box, and he also played in the UEFA Youth League.He was used as a back-up to Kobbie Mainoo last season, who has since moved up to the 21s, but he still played an important role in the FA Youth Cup victory, starting once and appearing in every game, including the final.
Oyedele scored the opening goal in United's third-round win at Selhurst Park this season. In addition to two assists, this was his second goal of the season.
He is thriving in a more prominent role for the under-18s, and he made his under-21 debut as a substitute earlier this season. More opportunities are likely in 2023.He signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2021 and has trained with Manchester United's first team squad as well as Erik ten Hag's winter training camp in Spain.
Maxi Oyedele's nationality
Maxi Oyedele is eligible to play for three countries: England, Nigeria, and Poland. Early in 2021, he committed his future to Poland, which he qualifies for through his mother.
Oyedele made his Poland under-18s debut in May of last year and has since made five appearances for Poland's under-19s squad.
