Liverpool FC's poor form continued on Monday evening when they were defeated 3-1 by Brentford. Unfortunately, the Reds have not kept a clean sheet in the league since October 2022. It was Jurgen Klopp's fifth defeat of the season, putting the club four (4) points behind Manchester United in fourth (4th) place on the league table.
In reality, Liverpool FC has been impressive, but the club's inability to win games due to its forwards missing chances has exacerbated its woes. Liverpool FC's two attackers have been named the Premier League players with the most missed goal chances so far this season.
1. Darwin Nunez
Because of his performance for Benfica, the Uruguayan was expected to lead the club to the Premier League title this season. Darwin Nunez has only scored five goals and provided two assists in thirteen Premier League games this season. Unfortunately, the Liverpool FC forward has missed more goal chances than he has scored for the club.
Darwin Nunez leads the list of players with the most missed goal chances this season with fifteen (15).
2.Mohamed Salah
The Egyptian has been one of Liverpool's best players, but he has struggled this season. Mohamed Salah, like Brentford forward Ivan Toney, has missed twelve goal chances.

"I don't think they've got quite enough, it's going to take a lot for them to get there.
"I think it's going to be Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, that's my four right now.
"Listen, a lot can change. With Newcastle flying, this could be the closest top four race ever.
"You look at Arsenal who have had an incredible start but if we think Man City could catch them and make up seven points, why can't Chelsea catch Man United?
"There are so many possible outcomes. You can go on a good run, get a few injuries, and then
