Emmanuel Gyamfi, a winger for Aduana Stars, said he will be dissatisfied if the Ghana Football Association (GFA) decides to penalize him by leaving out Frederick Asare, a goalkeeper for Kotoko.

During their 10 match on Sunday, Gyamfi almost stomped on the leg of the former Accra Lions shot stopper.

After the referee blew for a foul against him, the former Kotoko attacker turned his ire on Kotoko's goalie.

After the whistle sounded for a foul and Fredrick Asare was under close guard by Justice Blay, the winger became enraged and nearly stomped him twice.

As a result, many football supporters have demanded that Gyamfi be punished for his unsportsmanlike conduct.

Despite his outburst, the intrepid winger delivered an outstanding performance to aid his team in securing a 0-0 draw at home.

Gyamfi apologized unconditionally to football fans for his actions towards the Kotoko shot blocker in an interview with Kumasi's Oyerepa FM.

He stated that if the Ghana Football Association (GFA) chooses to penalize him and exclude Kotoko's shot blocker, he will be upset.

"I really apologize to all football supporters for the situation involving Frederick Asare, but I urge everyone to examine the entire video before passing judgment. They shouldn't base their decisions on a little film and risk making a mistake.

Even though Justice Blay had pleaded with me to cool off and claimed to have seen the goalie kick my ankle, I had urged him to speak with his goalkeeper first before coming to me.

If the GFA punishes me without punishing the goalie, I will be dissatisfied.
