Manchester United might lineup after January with De Jong, Giroud, and Felix
If Manchester United makes some clever signings, they might have a fresh look after the January window.
United won't "burn money," Erik ten Hag has said, although he might try to sign a few players he missed out on in the summer.
Frenkie de Jong is one of them; he declined the chance to transfer to Old Trafford during the last transfer window.
The midfielder had a £71.5 million proposal approved by Barcelona, but he was set on staying in Catalonia.

De Jong, 25, may play alongside Casemiro in the midfield for the Red Devils, who has performed well since joining from Real Madrid in the summer.
And if two January targets sign before the transfer window ends, United might have a new offensive strategy.
Joao Felix, an Atletico Madrid striker who United likes the way he looks, has been under observation since the summer.
The 23-year-old is also wanted by Arsenal and Chelsea, but Atletico wants to recuperate the £113 million they paid on him in 2019.
The LaLiga powerhouses might be open to a loan deal, but they would reportedly want at least £8 million in exchange, with United also required to pay the Portugal star's salary.
If a proposal for Felix is rejected, United might make an unexpected move for Olivier Giroud of AC Milan.
