In 2022, Alisson Becker is the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets across all competitions in Europe's top five leagues. In 62 games, the Brazilian goalkeeper kept 29 clean sheets. Ederson Moraes, a fellow Brazilian goalkeeper, is ranked second on the list, with 24 clean sheets in 48 games for Manchester City in 2022. Tite's first choice goalkeeper for the 2022 FIFA World Cup was Alisson Becker.
Remiro, who won the La Liga golden glove last season, kept 22 clean sheets in 44 games and is currently ranked third on the top ten list.
Other goalkeepers who kept 18 or more clean sheets in Europe's top five leagues in 2022 besides Ederson, Remiro, and Alisson include Ter Stegen (21 clean sheets), Jan Oblak (20 clean sheets), Simon (19 clean sheets), Patricio (19 clean sheets), Pope (18 clean sheets), Donnarumma (18 clean sheets), and Maignan (18 clean sheets) (18 clean sheets). The majority of the goalies mentioned contributed to their team finishing in the top four in the 2021/22 season. In the 2021/22 season, only three of the top ten goalkeepers won a trophy. Donnarumma, Alison, and Ederson are the goalkeepers. Veteran goalkeepers such as Mendy, De Gea, Courtois, Manuel Neuer, and Lloris did not make the top ten list. David De Gea, on the other hand, has already kept three clean sheets in Manchester United's last three Premier League games. The Spanish goalkeeper, who had 15 clean sheets in 2022, has 12 this season in 23 games across all competitions.

Huge boost for Man Utd, Chelsea as Everton star discovers Erling Haaland ‘weakness’ ahead of Prem clashes
According to one pundit, Chelsea and Manchester United could benefit after Everton defender Ben Godfrey discovered a 'weakness' in Erling Haaland.
Manchester City won the race to sign Haaland in summer 2022, matching his Borussia Dortmund release clause. According to The Guardian, the relocation cost £51.5 million.
Haaland scored 86 goals in 89 games for Dortmund and has somehow improved on that form under Pep Guardiola. He has 27 goals in just 21 appearances this season. He was forced to stay at home during the Qatar World Cup because Norway did not qualify. The striker was ready to go as soon as domestic football resumed, and he scored in the 3-2 Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool.
Since then, Haaland has scored twice in a win over Leeds United and once in a frustrating 1-1 draw with Everton.
While the 22-year-old did score against the Toffees, finishing past Jordan Pickford after a clever pull-back from Riyad Mahrez, it was not one of his vintage, dominant displays.
Everton's Godfrey kept him at bay for long stretches of the game, even winding him up.Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has now suggested that Haaland's 'weakness' is making people angry. Chelsea will almost certainly try this when they play City on Thursday night.
Man United must avoid a repeat of Erling Haaland.
Manchester United may also benefit from the Manchester derby on Saturday, January 14. The Red Devils will fight tooth and nail to keep Haaland at bay. That's because he stunned them in his first Manchester derby with three goals and two assists.
"You could tell he [Haaland] was frustrated," Robinson said in an interview with Football Insider."I think we all thought Haaland was untouchable and unplayable but Godfrey has clearly found a weakness.
"It is now up to Haaland to positively respond to what happened. Other center-halves will pounce on any chink in the armour shown. They'll try to con Haaland like Godfrey did.
"You have to give Godfrey credit for that, as well as the way he played. That is one of the reasons Frank [Lampard] put him on the team. He knew he could do a job on him.
"Haaland did not like the way he was played against that day. Perhaps he is human after all. Defenders may be able to outwit him.
Robinson is correct; other defenders must now try this tactic on Haaland. Nothing else appears to work against the goal machine. So Chelsea and Manchester United defenders might as well give it a shot.
However, there is a risk to this strategy. Getting Haaland riled up and angry may make him even more desperate to punish defenders and score goals, if that is possible.
