Cristiano Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon D'or winner who joined Saudi Professional Football League giant Al Nassr on a two-and-a-half year contract, could make his debut for the new club today, when they play their 12th league game of the current season at home against Al Taee.
The 37-year-old, who was officially unveiled to thousands of fans at MRSOOL Park on Tuesday, wasted no time, as he had his first training as well as his first interview shortly after the unveiling event.
With the possibility of making his competitive debut, here is how Al Nassr could line up for the current league leader, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Vincent Aboubakar leading the attacking line:
David Ospina is expected to be in goal, having been the preferred number one choice of shot stopper at the heart of the goal post, with Alvaro Gonzalez and Madu pairing as central defenders, and Ghislain Konan and Sultan Al Ghannam playing from the left and right back positions, respectively, to round out the four-man defense line. The midfield trio of Gonzalo Martinez, Luiz Gustavo, and Anderson Talisca could be deployed in the center of the field, with Gustavo playing more of a defensive role and the other two playing more of an offensive role, assisting in getting the ball forward.
In the 4-3-3 formation, the forward trio of Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Vincent Aboubakar, and Cristiano Ronaldo could be deployed at the heart of the attacking line, with Aboubakar playing as the main hitman upfront and the other two expected to play from the left and right wing positions, respectively.

Dembele puts his future on hold and is not listening to offers
Ousmane Dembele is a player coveted by many clubs, and several have expressed interest in making an offer for him and even paying his termination clause in recent days.
PSG is one of them. Others in England are also interested in the player and would be willing to make a bid for him.
The truth is that there are no agreements in place as of today, and it is all speculation in the press.
Barcelona is the focus.
Dembele has put his future on hold until at least next June. The Frenchman does not intend to accept any offers until at least the end of the season.
Dembele is focused on finishing the season well with Barcelona because the team faces many challenges ahead and he still has the coach's trust, so he knows that now is not the time to consider other teams.
The club is also not in a hurry in this regard, and they do not intend to make any move for his renewal at this time.
The economic situation calls for caution, and while he is a player in whom Xavi has placed his trust since day one, now is the time to wait. There will be time to make an offer to him.Laporta does not sell.
Dembele is not for sale at Barcelona. This is what Laporta said in an interview on Thursday.
"If PSG or another club came to sign him, we would tell them he is not for sale," he said.
"Right now, he is one of the most important players we have with exceptional speed. He is a lightning bolt."When he gets the ball, he explodes, and he scored a fantastic goal against Intercity. He will not leave for 70 million dollars or any other sum."
The clause of variable release
Barcelona will have to be cautious because the player's buyout clause is currently set at 100 million euros, which is a very reasonable sum.
However, during the months of June and July, it is reduced to 50 million, which is a very appealing price for many clubs.
It will be the point at which the club must decide whether to renew its contract.
