Chelsea faced Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night, and while it was a battle to see who would take all three points, Kepa and Ederson looked to secure clean sheets for their respective teams.

Chelsea was the better team in the first half and came close to scoring on several occasions, the closest of which Chukwuemeka's effort smashed the post. At the break, neither team could find a way through.

Man City came out stronger in the second half and made it count when substitute Riyad Mahrez scored in the 63rd minute. Man City defeated Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

With Man City's 1-0 victory, Ederson earned his seventh clean sheet of the season, moving him closer to David Degea and Aaron Ramsdale in the race for the golden glove this season. With a total of ten clean sheets this season, Nick Pope remains unbeatable. The table appears below.

Fans say 'the zombie is overrated' after Haaland takes 21 minutes to get touch at Chelsea

Fans were left wondering why Erling Haaland "wasn't playing" after it took him more than 20 minutes to get his first touch of the ball during Manchester City's match against Chelsea.Erling Haaland's failure to touch the ball in the first 21 minutes of Manchester City's Premier League match against Chelsea sparked 'overrated' jokes on social media.

With the score at 0-0 after 21 minutes, a Sky Sports graphic showed that Haaland had yet to touch the ball, with Kepa Arrizabalaga coming in second with two touches.

Despite scoring 21 goals in 15 domestic appearances for his new club, Haaland's overall team contribution has been questioned, as his detractors pointed out on Thursday evening.

According to one Twitter user: "Haaland took 21 minutes to touch the ball. Zombies are overrated.""Why isn't Haaland playing?" asked another.

A third person agreed: "In the first 20 minutes, Haaland had 0 touches. What a world-class striker he is."

A fourth person wrote: "You should be keeping track of Haaland's touches. Una, go see something right now."

Fans of Erling Haaland were not pleased with the statistic."I just know Haaland's first shot on goal will be a goal," said a fifth.

Just seconds after the graphic appeared on screen, Haaland had a flurry of touches by the corner flag and almost created a chance.

Soon after, commentator Jamie Carragher praised him for a defensive contribution as he headed a Hakim Ziyech free-kick clear from the near post.
