THE BRONCO PRORUNNER FROM APG MAY BE A LESS EXPENSIVE OPTION THAN THE MIGHTY BRAPTOR.

The ProRunner is a brand-new Ford Bronco performance package developed by Automotive Performance Group (APG).

Even the formidable Ford Bronco Raptor will avoid engaging the ProRunner, which makes Ford's Sasquatch package appear tame. The ProRunner package, which is available on all models after 2021, transforms the basic Bronco into a Baja beast capable of obscene off-roading.

The body-on-frame The Ford Bronco is adored by the aftermarket tuning community as one of the most aggressive off-road vehicles in a very long time. There can only be one champion, and APG may just be that champion, despite the plethora of heavily modified Broncos that are cruising the roads of the United States. The ProRunner's suspension system receives the most attention, just like any serious off-roader. For an additional 16.5 inches of wheel travel with 37-inch tires or 14.5 inches of wheel travel with 40-inch tires, APG adds a long-travel front suspension system with 3.5-inch wider upper and lower control arms.

The King Race Series 3.0-inch coilovers and 2.5-inch triple bypass shock absorbers provide additional advantages for the ProRunner. A reinforced shock tower setup covers the entire setup.

King coilovers and shocks make up the rear suspension, and a track bar and billet control arms significantly extend the rear travel. Naturally, upgrades have also been made to the rear end and axles. Dana 60 bits can be found in the rear, and an Ultimate Dana 44 IFS unit can be found in the front. 300 metric tons of steel are used in the construction of the RVC heavy-duty axles.

Additionally, this Bronco is significantly wider than the average vehicle. APG provides its customers with aerospace-grade carbon wheel flares in three-quarter, three-, and five-inch sizes.

The turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder or 2.7-liter six-cylinder engines found in two- and four-door Bronco models are compatible with this package.

The stage 1 ProRunner kit for the Ford Ranger costs approximately $16,000, although APG does not provide an exact price for these delicious alterations. For the ProRunner treatment as a whole, prepare to spend closer to $30,000.
