Chelsea's season is still in reverse, and the fact that Graham Potter's team left to a smattering of polite applause following their home defeat to Manchester City was a telling sign of their current plight. It has certainly been a long time since sympathy greeted a Chelsea home loss to rivals such as Manchester City, a defeat that has dropped them to 10th in the Premier League, ten points off the Champions League places, and trailing west London rivals Fulham and Brentford.

Interestingly, despite having 25 points from 17 Premier League games, the Blues have yet to defeat any of the nine teams currently in the top ten.

Here's a look at the top ten and how Chelsea fared against each;

1 Chelsea 0 Arsenal

2- Chelsea 0 vs. 1 Manchester City

3- Newcastle United 1 vs. 0 Chelsea

4- Chelsea 1 vs. Manchester United

5- Chelsea 2 vs. Tottenham Hotspurs 2

6- Liverpool vs. Chelsea (Not played yet)

7- Fulham vs. Chelsea (Not played yet)

8- Brighton 4 vs. 1 Chelsea

9- Brentford 0 vs. 0 Chelsea

As seen above, none of Chelsea's seven Premier League victories this season have come against teams currently ranked in the top ten. Chelsea has won just one of their last eight Premier League games and will face Manchester City in the FA Cup at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
