Currently trending in Ghana and on Social Media, is Meek Mill (the American Rapper) and the Jubilee House video brouhaha. The two names (Meek Mill and the Jubilee House); since last night (January 8 2023), and withing a twinkle of an eye, has gained so much popularity.

The two names started trending across the world, after a viral video of rapper Meek Mill, was seen on social media. The video shows Meek Mill rapping. He was seen rapping in the company of a group of backers.

The viral video has invited hundreds and thousand of Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians across the world commenting on the teaser of a music video. The background of Meek Mill release showed that, the video may have been shot at the Jubilee House, also known as the Flagstaff House, (seat of Ghana's Government).

Information revealed that, rapper Meek Mill was in the Jubilee House last month, and had meeting with Ghana's President, President Nana Akufo-Addo. At that meeting, President Akufo-Addo was excited to have the rapper in Ghana and at the Jubilee House.

President Nana Addo in his welcoming speech said; “I am very excited that Gyankruma insisted that you come and say hello to me and I appreciate that very much”.

Below are some comments from social media users on rapper Meek Mill and the Jubilee House Video:

Frank Darkwah (@Blaqqkoffi) said "Meek Mill shot a music video at the Flagstaff House (Jubilee House)? That’s the office of the President and used Akufo Addo’s pulpit".

Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (Member of Parliament for North Tongu in the Volta Region), also twitted; "All those responsible for this despicable desecration of the Jubilee House by Meek Mill must be fired immediately. How do those explicit lyrics from the president’s lectern project Ghana positively? Is Ghana’s seat of government no longer a high security installation"?

KALYJAY (@gyaigyimii) from the Eastern Region of Ghana also said; "Meek Mill even used the "Fellow Ghanaians" podium".

Meek Mill; born Robert Rihmeek Williams, is an American rapper born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
