A message to GES and MOE

A concern teacher writes a strong message to Ghana Education Service and Ministry of Education on their late and bad way of sharing vital imformation.

According to the concern teacher he is  begging GES and MOE in the name of God, to clearly communicate on time whatever plans or directives they have for teacher and the public this new academic year.

The letter read as:

*Dear GES and MOE*,

We are begging you in the name of God, clearly communicate on time whatever plans or directives you have for us this new academic year.

We want to know what we are doing and what we are not doing. What to expect and what not to expect.

Your late communications is creating rooms for rumor mongering. Some of us saw the endorsement of the Director General days before you officially communicated same on your Facebook page.

This has been the trend of communication for sometime now. You give the information to some boys to circulate so that  you monitor  reactions  before  sharing it officially. When you realise the reaction is not what you want,  you come out to flag it as fake. If the reaction is good, or you feel the unofficial information has prepared the ground, you latter put an official stamp on it as legit. it is not helping.

Currently, there is an academic calendar making rounds on social media. The academic year begins today. Whether that calendar is official or not, we don't know. It hasn't been posted on any of your websites or Facebook handle.

You wait until weekends and midnights to issue important letters. Please, leave the weekend and midnight bundle for us to use.

We hope and pray that your communication machinery will be proactive this time.
