Most footballers around the world have had the opportunity to develop their skills in various competitions thanks to English clubs. These are the top ten African footballers for English clubs in terms of goals and assists.


1. Didier Drogba - The Ivorian retired striker played 381 games for Chelsea from 2004 to 2012, scoring 164 goals and assisting on 86 others.



2. Mohamed Salah - The Egyptian winger has played 299 games for Liverpool and Chelsea, scoring 248 goals. In 280 appearances for Liverpool since 2017, he has 173 goals and 69 assists.


3. Sadio Mane - The Senegalese winger played 344 games for Southampton and Liverpool, scoring 207 goals. For Liverpool, he scored 120 goals and assisted on 48 others.



4. Riyad Mahrez has played for Leicester City and Manchester City in England. In 211 games, he scored 71 goals and assisted on 48 others. The Algerian winger appeared in 179 games for Leicester City, scoring 48 goals and providing 38 assists.
