Tottenham Hotspur comes in second with a total transfer fee of £169.95 million; no new players have been signed this January, putting the London-based club in a better position to secure UCL qualification spots.

Nottingham Forest are currently Europe's fifth most expensive club, having spent a total of £161.95 million on new players.

Barcelona comes in second, having spent £153.00 million so far.
