In the 2022/23 season, Barcelona currently has the fewest goals conceded in Europe's top five leagues. So far, the La Liga leaders have only conceded six goals in 16 games. The arrival of Jules Jounde, Christensen, and Marcos Alonso in the 2022 summer transfer window strengthened Barcelona's defense. However, Juventus, who struggled last season due to numerous defensive errors, are ranked second on the top ten list. The Serie-A champions, who are vying for the Scudetto this season, have only conceded 7 goals in 17 games.
Furthermore, Juventus has a difficult match against Napoli tonight. Napoli, the current Serie-A leaders, have only conceded 13 goals in 17 games this season, placing them sixth in the league. Other clubs that have conceded fewer goals than Napoli include Newcastle United (11 goals), Lens (11 goals), and Villarreal (11 goals) (12 goals).
Furthermore, Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain are seventh in the top ten list. So far, the French giants have only allowed 13 goals in 17 games. They would play their next Ligue 1 game against Rennes this weekend, and they would hope to keep their defensive record intact. Real Betis (13 goals) and Bayern Munich (13 goals) are among the other clubs in the top ten.

MANCHESTER CITY: EDWARDS CLAIMS CANCELO ‘ISN’T HAPPY’ AMIDST LINKS
Journalist Luke Edwards claims Manchester City star Joao Cancelo is "displeased" with his recent absence amid recent transfer links
A report by The Telegraph claims that a number of clubs are considering the Portuguese full-back, including teams from Spain, France and Germany
Cancelo has made 16 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side but has only made two Premier League appearances since returning from the World Cup, against Leeds United and Chelsea in the past two months
However, the player has received plenty of praise in recent seasons, with Premier League legend Alan Shearer describing Cancelo as "excellent" picking his XI for Week 11 last season
Speaking to Transfer Gossip Daily, Luke Edwards insisted the leash was a "polite way to throw his toys out of the stroller" by Cancelo, but believes City would "skip" the leash. He said (8:09) "Cancelo is not happy, I suspect there is that element in it.
"Football players tend to be like little kids, spoiled kids and he loses his place on the team and it's like a very polite way to throw his toys in the pram and let see that he's not particularly happy I think Manchester City will just ignore him and I think Pep Guardiola, he won't mind at all. I don't think there's any danger of him leaving in this month.
TIF takes in Edwards comments…
We believe that a professional player like Cancelo will understand that there will be periods in a season where you miss a few games due to the rotation and performance of other players
So the links to his departure may not have even been elicited by him or his agent, so it's possible speculation has surfaced since he hasn't had many minutes lately. It would be foolish for City to sell Cancelo in the near future and you won't be much better than him when he was named the PFA Premier League XI of the year last season
With the 2022/23 season far from over, we expect Cancelo to return to regular football soon.
