The newly acquired Cristiano Ronaldo from Al Nassr has come under fire from Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar, who claims that Lionel Messi was always the superior player.

After the arrival of the 37-year-old, Aboubakar is reportedly planning to go from Al Nassr. A team is limited to eight international players on its squad in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Nassr must release one of its international players as a result of Ronaldo joining the team, and center-forward Aboubakar would seem to be the best option. According to The Mail, Aboubakar and the club mutually decided to end their contract, and he will earn a substantial payoff as a result.

Aboubakar allegedly attacked the Portuguese where it stung the most before leaving the Saudi Pro League team by saying Messi was superior to him. Aboubakar reportedly stated that he now knows from experience that Messi is a better player than Ronaldo. This is according to Mundo Deportivo.

On January 19, Messi's Paris Saint-Germain will play a friendly match in Saudi Arabia featuring the two greatest players of this generation. The Parisians will face an all-star XI made up of players from the Saudi clubs Al Nassr and Al Hilal, and they want to bring every superstar on their list, including the Argentine.

Ronaldo, who is now serving a two-match suspension for snatching a phone from an Everton supporter in April 2022, might play in that match for Saudi Arabia for the first time. The former Real Madrid superstar might play his first competitive match for Al Nassr on January 22 against Ettifaq, a Saudi Pro League foe.

The Cameroonian striker said this in a statement: "I always thought that Messi was better than Ronaldo, but after training with Ronaldo, I realized I was right." The striker plans to leave AL-Nassr so that the Portuguese can have a chip and play.

It was Vincent Aboubakar's intention to make amends with Cristiano Ronaldo. The Al-Nassr Cameroonian international, who may have to end his contract so that the Portuguese can get a chip and play, has left a lapidary statement in which he expresses his "enmity" for the former Madrid player who would take his position.

The 30-year-old striker claimed, "I always thought Messi was better than Ronaldo, but after training with Ronaldo, I realized I was right.
