Kevin De Bruyne broke the team record for Premier League assists on October 8 when Manchester City defeated Southampton 4-0.
The Belgian star is now on track to become just the fifth player to score 100 goals in the tournament after making just 227 appearances in England's top flight.
The 31-year-old is also on track to accomplish that feat quickly; it's likely that he will achieve the 100-appearance mark with at least 100 fewer games played than any other player.
De Bruyne still needs to catch the all-time leading assist provider in Premier League history, though.
The Premier League's all-time leader in assists is Ryan Giggs. During his 632 games for Manchester United over the course of his 24-year senior career, the legendary player registered 162 assists.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas comes in second on the list with 111 assists. Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard are the only players with more than 100 in the competition.
By 2022/23, just four of the top 20 players were still active in the Premier League.

It should come as no surprise that Ryan Giggs, a former player for Manchester United who has made 632 Premier League appearances, is the league's best assist provider.
Over the course of his Premier League career, the Welshman handed out 162 assists, which is 51 more than Cesc Fàbregas, the next-best player. Fàbregas is the only player from outside the UK to have 100 assists in the competition, and he tops the charts among non-British players.
