A year ago
AC Milan finally won the Scudetto after a decade of waiting at the end of the 2021/22 season. Some of their most important players from that season were named to the 2022 team of the year.
Mike Maignan was named Best Goalkeeper of the Season for the 2021/22 season. He is a member of the year's team. Rafael Leao was one of the best attackers in Serie A last season. He was named Player of the Year. This earned him a spot on the team of the year.
Gleison Bremer, who won the Best Defender of the Season award for the 2021/22 season, was named to the team.
Victor Osimhen of Napoli has earned a spot on the team after an impressive season in which he won the U23 Player of the Season award. This season, he's off to an even better start, with 12 goals and three assists in just 14 league games.
Despite joining Napoli at the start of the 2022/23 season, Kvaratskheli made the team as well. So far in the Italian Serie A, the 21-year-old has seven goals and nine assists.

Mykhaylo Mudryk 'to be at Chelsea game today' after medical as Blues avoid FFP hurdle
Mykhaylo Mudryk makes an appearance at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea's home game against Crystal Palace.
Ukrainian speed her car is now completing her medical tests ahead of her £88.5m transfer from Donetsk to Graham Potter's team at Shakhtar. Madric is the fifth Chelsea player to arrive at Stamford Bridge in January this year, after Benowa Badiacil, Andrei Santos, David Datrophofana and Joao Felix.

Despite the fact that Arsenal had been in talks with the Ukrainian giants since December, their quick thinking and strong actions have allowed them to reach an agreement.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will reportedly circumvent his Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions by paying up to £62m in extra charges worth up to £26.5m. Mudryk will also reportedly sign a seven-and-a-half-year deal to support Blues in terms of FFP and return on investment as well.
