PRO of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Kwasi Kwarteng, revealed that the BECE 2022 results for JHS graduates will be released on January 19, 2023. The latest news is that the release date for BECE graduates has been postponed to Saturday, January 21, 2023. The new release date will fall on Saturday. Usually, WAEC does not publish results on Saturdays. It is not known why the date of publication of the results has been postponed.
A new date given by Mr Kwasi Kwarteng is January 21, 2023. “For the sake of God from 19th to 21st January 2023, we hope the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) 2022 academic permit publication Research results,” said Mr Kwasi Kwarteng.
Ghana Education News predicts that the results may still be delayed and will be released on Monday, January 23. Before the publication of WASSCE 2023, WAEC announced the result date, but it took almost 48 hours to delay the publication. Going this route, Monday, January 23 seems to be more likely. Now, Ghana's education authorities have announced that from January 14 to 22, applicants and parents must go to the school screening portal to review their school choices before the results.
Also, the BECE Admissions School Selection 2022 closed on Sunday 22 January. This closing date also makes the results to be published on Monday 23rd January can be more than Saturday 21 January announced, which coincides with the school examination period.
GES has made it clear that the results will be released after the school selection is done.
