IN 2024, A BENTLEY CONTINENTAL WAS SPOTTED PLAYING IN THE SNOW.

The Bentley Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible were having fun in the ice and snow when our spy photographers took these photos.

At first glance, it appears to be a straightforward midlife facelift. The new headlights, redesigned bumper, and what appears to be a smaller grille can be seen in the front. However, the latter could be an optical illusion. We can see a new bumper, new taillights, and two large exhaust outlets instead of the quad tailpipes that are currently present at the rear.

Unfortunately, we do not have any pictures taken from the vehicle's driver's side. We are aware of the location of the upcoming Continental Hybrid's socket on the opposite side of the vehicle from earlier spy shots. In any case, the introduction of the hybrid Continentals at the 2024 facelift would be the ideal occasion to do so. Except for the ultra-exclusive Batur, every Bentley model will come with a hybrid option when it becomes available. Rolls-Royce has a slight advantage in this area because Bentley's electric vehicle is currently on hold because the Volkswagen Group's software department isn't working as well as it should.

We anticipate that the W12 and twin-turbo V8 engines will continue to be available. It's likely that the Flying Spur will use the same hybrid engine. An electric motor and a 14.1-kWh battery assist the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6. It makes 536 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque in the Flying Spur. There is a missing piece on the front of these Continentals if you look closer. These models lack fog lights and have a completely new headlight design.

It's possible that the HD Matrix Headlights that will be available as an option on the Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe in 2023 will also be available on these new Bentleys. An ECU is used to control these headlights, which have 8,192 LEDs per unit. In order to position the lights, the ECU takes input from the steering position, infrared sensors, camera system, and navigation.

A brand-new sensor can be seen if you look closely at the grille. If viewed from the front, the sensor is on the right side of the grille on the most recent models. This new sensor may be included in the upgraded driver assistance features or the advanced headlights package.

Before the introduction in 2024, we will learn more in the coming months.
