But it's the first time they've been behind Liverpool since Deloitte began tracking them down.
Jürgen Klopp's team jumped from his seventh place to his third place last year with a profit of £594.3m.
The main reasons are the Champions League final and the 22% year-on-year increase in matchday revenue. Six of the top 10 are made up of Premier League teams, with Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal also on Deloitte's list.

His five other Premier League teams are outside the top ten, including West Ham (15), Leicester (17), Leeds (18), Everton (19) and Newcastle (20).
Sam Boor, director of Deloitte's Sports Business Group, stated:
“The Premier League's financial superiority is unlikely to be challenged in the coming seasons.”
“This is particularly apparent at a time when these clubs continue to attract international investment which often, in the best examples, encourages a focus on profitability, as well as on-pitch success.”
