Leandro Trossard's arrival has been formally announced by Arsenal, marking the completion of one deal today.

However, rumors claim that another player is headed to the Emirates, so the Gunners might soon make it two.

Earlier in the day, Romano said that Arsenal would spend more than £17.5 million for the 22-year-old.

When compared to Trossard, who joined Arsenal after the Mykhaylo Mudryk scandal, Kiwior's move to the Gunners was unexpected.

Massive potential

But even though Kiwior may not yet be well-known in England, he has received some excellent reviews.

One of those came from the greatest striker in the world and star of Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski, a native of Poland.

Lewandowski was reported by Sempre Milan as saying: "I observed him [Kiwior] in the warm-up before the game and wondered who he was" in September of last year.

Jakub Kiwior: who is he?

Kiwior, a 6 feet 2 inch defender who is 22 years old, can play as a defensive midfielder, left back, or center back.

Before joining the academy of Anderlecht in 2016, he progressed through the ranks at the Polish club GKS Tichy.

Jakub Kiwior, a center defense for youthful Spezia, is being courted by Arsenal. London is aware of this as Edu and Mikel Arteta work to increase the likelihood of winning the Premier League for the first time in 19 years. The confirmation of Leandro Trossard's transfer to the Emirates Stadium is followed by news.

Kiwior has recently drawn interest from clubs like AC Milan and Juventus after establishing a reputation as one of Serie A's most promising defenders. But it looks like North London will be his last resting place this month.

In the Arsenal back line, boss Arteta can currently name Gabriel, William Saliba, Ben White, and Rob Holding. However, he would like to add another left-footed player.

Leandro Trossard is a member of Mikel Arteta's ideal Arsenal team.

And it seems the Spaniard has taken notice of endorsements from some of the biggest names in European sport.

Kiwior is familiar with Robert Lewandowski, the Barcelona striker, as a veteran member of the Polish national team. The former Bayern Munich player has shown his respect for the 22-year-old on several occasions.

Targeted by Arsenal, Robert Lewandowski likes Jakub Kiwior.

Lewandowski has played for Barcelona as well as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. He can spot a great player when he sees one, and Kiwior appears to fit that description.

The 22-year-old received his first-ever call-up to Poland last summer as a result of an outstanding domestic campaign with Spezia in Italy.
