It is already mid-season in European top-flight leagues, and the performance of some players signed last summer by top European clubs can be evaluated.

Some of them have been quite impressive, while others have been underwhelming.

Based on their performance thus far this season, the following players were selected and signed last summer.

1. Erling Haaland

Some football fans have recently claimed that Erling Haaland has reduced Manchester City's efficiency since joining them because the team is built around him, but one thing cannot be denied is that Erling Haaland is ruthless in front of goal.

Erling Haaland would have won the Premier League Golden Boot in each of the previous seven seasons with his 22 Premier League goals this season.

2. Casemiro

Many thought Casemiro was coming to Manchester United to retire because he had given everything he had to football at Real Madrid, but Casemiro has changed his mind. He is arguably the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League right now.

Good Signs

This ranking includes Aurelien Tchouameni, Lisandro Martinez, Gabriel Jesus, Robert Lewandowski, and Sadio Mane. Robert Lewandowski has already scored more than 20 goals for Barcelona this season and should be considered an Elite Player for the Catalans, but he has been absent from many important games this season.

Signs That Didn't Stick

This season, Antony, Raphinha, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, and Darwin Nunez have all fallen short of expectations.

Man Utd’s next big thing has week to remember in matches for U15s, 16s and 18s

Manchester United youngster Amir Ibragimov was the star of the Red Devils U15, 16 and 18 squad in the same week.

The Russian-born United forward attracted a lot of interest from all of Europe's top teams last year, but a deal in Manchester halted his progress. He is widely regarded as one of his most likely contenders within the United squad.

And his three-part stellar performances at United across three different age groups showed why he was wanted in Europe.

His impressive week in football began on Tuesday afternoon when he scored the winning goal for the under-15s in his 3-2 win over arch-rivals Manchester City. rice field. His low, whipping free-kick flew off the grass, through a crowd of players, and snuggled into the bottom corner.

However, this was just the beginning of his football week. He reappeared in the death phase on Saturday morning, scoring his lone goal in his side's U-16s' 1-0 victory over Liverpool.

What do you think Amir Ibragimov can achieve? Let us know in the comments section below

Minutes after the final whistle blew, Ibragimov walked to the next court to meet the U18s. He wasn't quite behind the net at the time, but at home he looked like he was playing three generations older.

And the best thing for United is that he cemented his future at the club last year. Ibragimov signed a contract with the club where he would stay until he was 17 when he was able to sign professionally.

In addition to captaining United, he has also been called up internationally for the England youth team. I was born in Russia but have been living in England since I was 11 years old.

It will be years before he shows up in his first team, but he's certainly someone to watch.
