Callum Hudson Odoi failing to light it up in Germany
Most Chelsea fans were delighted when Callum Hudson-Odoi joined German club Bayer Leverkusen on loan last summer. This was a move that meant Callum would get regular playing time and join a league full of young attackers like Jadon He Sancho and Kai He Havertz. days. Callum, who missed 141 days in 2019 with a torn Achilles tendon, hoped the loan move would help him regain his confidence and fitness.
However, a few months after his loan move, Callum has scored only 1 assist in 11 games and has not scored at all. Tonight's situation deteriorated for the 22-year-old, who was replaced at half-time after Bayer Leverkusen and VFL Bochum failed to create attacks or chances.
