In a new video circulating online which has got people talking, a man dressed nicely was seen entering a place which seem to be an office space and later was captured by CCTV camera stealing a phone which probably belongs to an employee there.
In the video, the man entered through the front door of the company while on phone, he later walked passed the receptionist who in the video was seen attending to a customer, the man dressed in top and down material cloth proceeded to walk past the receptionist to where the phone was charging while pretending he was busy making a call on his phone.
Upon reaching, he unplugged the phone from the charger with his leg while still faking a call on his phone. He then proceeded by dragging the phone with his right leg towards an empty seat which was not far from where the phone was charging, he then sat inside the chair and quickly picked up the stolen phone from the floor into his pocket and quickly left the place without being noticed.
Although it is not known if he has been caught or not but the CCTV footage was shared online by popular Nigerian blogger “lindaikegi” on their instagram page and the post which has over 370k plus views and over 17k likes has been trending since it’s upload with viewers sharing their opinions.
While other viewers were bashing the thief for his actions other also took upon themselves to advice employees especially receptionist of various companies never to allow anyone cross their counter because not everyone neatly dressed is a responsible person.
others also called on the leaders of the company to send the footage to the police to jump into action and bring the culprit to book to serve as a warning to others who might have the intention of engaging in such a shameful activity.
