The year was 2005, and Mourinho received a two-match suspension for making comments about Frank Rijkaard for apparently affecting the game.
The suspension has prevented Mourinho from directly applying his tactics to Chelsea's side as they prepare to face Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarter-finals.
However, his ban did not stop Mourinho from presenting his team by any means necessary.
Years after the incident, Mourinho himself decided to speak out. "I go to the dressing room during the day so I'll be there from noon and the game is 7. I just want to be in the dressing room when the players arrive," Mourinho told BeIn Sport.
