Jamaican Olympic gold medalist sprinter Usain bolt speaks on losing his nearly $12m investment. Usain bolt has been trending for days now after he lost about $12million and is trying everything possible to recover his lost money.
Caught up in a massive money fraud, the Olympic gold medalist has allegedly lost around $12.7 million in investment at Stocks Securities Limited (SSL). With investigations going on, the situation looks “stressful.”Opening up for the first time, the 36-year-old expressed his shock over the whole matter in a public statement.
Usain bolt on taking measure on reverting his lost life savings fired his financial manager is he believes it was due to his carelessness that resulted in all this brouhaha. Usain bolt talks for the first time after the incident and still refrains from calling himself broke even though lost online users suggest he is currently broke.
Usain bolt speaking on his lost funds and family made a few comments which is currently trending and online users are trying all possible means to calm the athlete and give him some words of encouragement. Speaking Usain bolt made the following;
“Everybody knows I have three children and still look after my parents and I still want to live very well”.
In an early statement, the lawyer of the athlete revealed that, the account of Usain bolt dwindled from nearly $12.8million to somewhere around $12,000 and the firm responsible for handling the stocks bought by Bolt was given ten days to return back the money but failed to. As of the writing of this article, there have not been any charges pressed against the firm.
Speaking in an interview, the Attorney of the case Linton p. Gordon revealed that, in such cases one should anticipate “the expected and unexpected”.
Former CEO of the SSL firm made some shocking revelations that further adds that, bolt may not get back his lost money. In his words he revealed;
“During my tenure as CEO of SSL, Usain Bolts name never came out as client of SSL during board meetings, it was only after the scam broke out I heard he was a client of the firm”.
