Ghanaian songstress popular known as Wendy Shay has thrown her weight behind Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie days after his colleague Samini Batman came at him for not replying his WhatsApp messages and refusing to him a verse despite giving him a free verse when he was on the rise.
Sarkodie and Samini trended the past few days after Samini hosted a question and answer show on his official Twitter handle. In the process a fan asked if he Samini would ever collaborate with Sarkodie. Samini replying to the fan wrote;
“I don’t think I will ever need a verse from Sarkodie but if he ever need one from me, I’m not interested”.
This revelation sparked a whole lot of conversation which later made Samini revealed that, he did the verse for “love rock” under 24hours when Sarkodie sent it to him but he has being calling and texting Sarkodie for a verse but he keeps blue ticking him and never returns his messages despite the fact that he didn’t charge a dime for the “love rock” song.
This revelation made some industry colleagues joined the conversation with other lady expressing their experiences working with Sarkodie, other supported Sarkodie while others joined and threw their weight behind Samini.
The recent person to join the conversation is none other than our very own “Uber driver” crooner Wendy Shay. In a twitter post when dey praised and thanked Sarkodie for giving her a verse under 24hours and added that, she also has a musician she needed a verse from and it’s been two years and the person never did the verse.
