According entertainment critic widely known as Mr.Logic, there is nothing about the Stir it up remix which featured Ghanaian rap icon and BET award winner Michael owusu Addo better know as Sarkodie.
Days ago, the management of the late reggae icon Bob Marley recruited Ghanaian rap star Sarkodie and they released a remix video of the artistes old project dubbed Stir it up after the remix was released, it sparked a whole lot of controversies in the Ghanaian music industry with media expects expressing love towards the project and other trashing it.
A few of people who talked against the project are the likes of Shatta wale, yaa pono and Ayisha modi. Ayisha modi revealed that, since Bob Marley was a reggae artist, it should have featured an artist like Stonebwoy or shatta wale and not Sarkodie. Yaa pono is released a diss song towards Sarkodie, in a lyrics of the song he raps since when did we feature the dead a direct shot at Sarkodie.
The newest person to add to the list of critics is none other than entertainment critic and pundit Mr.Logic. According to him there is nothing special or extraordinary about the Stir it up remix aside Bob Marleys verse. This assertions has sparked a whole lot of conversations online.
Mr.Logic made these revelations on the popular tv show United showbiz. According to Mr.Logic he believes the song failed to attain its height because theres no African feel attached to the song. He also added that the celebrated rapper could have done much better than what he did on the song.
Mr.Logic is well know for his honest takes and judgements on musics from Ghana. With this particular submission made by him, most online users seem to agree with him.
