Marcus Tavernier

Man City 'give Ilkay Gundogan option to stay' and other transfer rumours
Manchester City have reportedly given Ilkay Gundogan the option to stay at the club despite being under contract for the past six months.
Gundogan joined City from Borussia Dortmund in 2016 and has since enjoyed great success at the Etihad Stadium. The 32-year-old has won the Premier League four times, the League Cup four times, the Community Shield twice and in Manchester he has won the FA Cup once.
However, concerns have been raised that he is out of contract with the German national team. Barcelona have strong ties to him and see the midfielder as a possible replacement for Sergio Busquets. Bruce fans need not worry too much about the central midfielder's future, according to a new report, journalist Graeme Bailey told TEAMtalk. he explained:
"The situation in Ilkay Gundogan hasn't changed much in recent months.
"City has given him the opportunity to stay and he has been offered a contract. Negotiations between City and Gundogan have always been friendly and there is no doubt about that.
"He loves the club and they love him too, but that's why they aren't putting pressure on him and that will be his decision," Fernandinho said. After leaving the team, he received the captain's armband through a team vote. Elsewhere, further reports link Joao Cancelo's move to Barcelona. According to Fitajes, 28-year-old agent Jorge Mendez has offered the Catalan giants a full-back.
Cancelo has fallen out of favor at the Etihad since the World Cup. He was expected to face Arsenal in the FA Cup, but Pep Guardiola chose to start Nathan Ake instead.
Barça are said to be monitoring the Portuguese defender's situation, but he has not made a formal offer. AC Milan are also believed to be keeping an eye on the City man.
