Three reasons Manchester United must sign Youri Tielemans before transfer deadline

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag told the club's website ahead of the FA Cup game that he remains open to new signings.

He explained:

"If I have the opportunity in the next few days I will go and do it but it is not only up to me. I think at this club, every day, it has to be the approach. You have to improve. And if there's an opportunity to improve, you have to attack.

"That's my approach and I look, I look around with research and I have an idea of ??the profile and the profile we need to strengthen this team."

One potential late addition could be Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans. Here are three reasons why the club should look to finalize a deal...

Christian Eriksen was knocked out by Reading's Andy Carroll at Old Trafford and left the stadium on crutches. Scott McTominay also missed the game through injury, while Donny van de Beek was out for the rest of the season.

United need reinforcements and midfield must now be a priority before the closing days of the transfer window.

This made Tielemans not only want a move, but necessary. United play in four different leagues and the presence of the Belgium international will give Erik ten Hag's side a better chance of success. Tielemans will have a bargain fee

United only has the funds available to lend due to the takeover plan. Eriksen's injury could prompt Ten Hag to force the club to find some extra cash, with a transfer deemed necessary.

Tielemans is doable due to his contract expiring soon. The midfielder's contract is due to expire in June and Leicester are expected to lose him on a free transfer as things stand.

United could make a £15m offer, even structured to have most of it paid in the summer rather than now, to secure a deal online. Premier League and Cup Experience

Tielemans will be able to make an immediate impact for United. The 25-year-old has already made 140 Premier League appearances and will soon integrate. He has scored against United in the past and will earn instant respect from his teammates.

However, he will be at cup level for the Carabao Cup and FA Cup matches, but his presence in the team still allows Ten Hag to have more rotation options in the tournament.

Tielemans will be eligible for United to be added to the Europa League squad. This is a league where he has made 12 appearances for Leicester and previously played against United for Anderlecht.

For an incredible price, United will sign a player of proven quality for a bargain price, who at 25 still has his best years ahead of him, leaving Erik ten Hag to help him. we develop.
