Sancho returns to his Nottingham game against Forest
Manchester United welcome Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial into the squad for Wednesday night's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg clash with Nottingham Forest. Sancho has not been in a United squad since November and has not played since a 1-1 draw with Chelsea on 22 October at Carrington base earlier this month.
Martial, meanwhile, is coming to an end to an injury-plagued season and has not appeared since he withdrew at half-time after the start of the game, despite being hit in the Manchester derby earlier this month.
Youngster completes loan move to Portsmouth
Manchester United have confirmed that Dishon Bernard is on loan to Ligue 1 club Portsmouth for the remainder of the 2022/2023 season.
Bernard, 22, was the second temporary departure confirmed by the Giants at Old Trafford on transfer deadline day, with striker Charlie McNeill green-lighting a move to Newport on Tuesday morning. Bernard had previously had loan spells at neighboring Salford City and Hull City in the Championship.
He heads to Fratton Park for his next adventure. Portsmouth are targeting promotion to League One via the play-offs this season, and his addition will increase their chances of doing so.
