Kylian Mbappe misses two penalties and is substituted due to injury
Kylian Mbappe had not one but two moments of his forgetting a penalty against Montpellier at Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG scored first in Wednesday's Ligue 1 match, with a visitor awarded a penalty.
Mbappé went forward but Benjamin Lecomte made a clever save on the right flank.
However, the match referee allowed PSG to retake the penalty after VAR realized that the Montpellier goalkeeper had crossed the goal line.
So Mbappe had another chance to break the blockade. Although he was unable to beat Leconte in the replay.
His second penalty hit the post and went wide on the rebound, sending the ball over the bar in a nightmare sequence.
To make matters worse, the 24-year-old left the field with an injury in his 21st minute.
