The ongoing debate between celebrated Ghanaian rapper Michael owusu Addo better known as Sarkodie is still ongoing and celebrities are still sharing their opinions or what they feel about the remix he was featured on by the late Bob Marleys label “Stir it up”.
We have had industry for players like Shatta wale, Blakk Rasta, Yaa pono and others made comments about it. Yaa pono released a new song titled “Yard” whic fans believe is a diss song towards Sarkodie’s verse on the “Stir it up” track. In a lyrics of the song he made mention of “when did we feature the dead” which made it clear indeed it was a shot directed at Sarkodie.
Kwaw kese replied to Yaa pono to never diss someone who is ahead of him in something else or will never be well with him. Pono replied and the two kept throwing shots at each other.
Ghanaian musician and tv presenter Blakk Rasta also made comments about Sarkodie “being a one way” artist and it generated a lot of backlash for him. In a new interview, Songstress Efya Nocturnal was asked about what Blakk Rasta said sometimes people should keep their opinions to themselves because no one actually cares.
“Sometimes, people should keep their opinions to themselves because no one actually cares about what they say”. She continued to add that people should just celebrate the achievement of their colleagues rather than the backlashes.
Blakk Rasta is notable for his takes on the career progress of entertainment celebrities in Ghana. Late last year he made comments about Black sheriff that generated same backlashes but it seems he is not stopping anytime soon.
Fans took to the comments to express their excitement on songstress Efya defending Sarkodie. Few of such comments below;
