Pep Guardiola has announced Phil Foden's return for Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
Foden has not played since suffering a leg injury against Manchester United in January, but the manager believes he is close to making a comeback.
Guardiola said when asked if Foden would be available this weekend, he replied: "Yes, I think so."
"He's been training well these last two days of his."
Meanwhile, there wasn't much positive news for John Stones.
The England defender was substituted with a hamstring injury in the first half of last week's FA Cup round four victory over Arsenal. When asked about Stone's chances of returning to the first team, Guardiola replied, "Three weeks, a month, more or less."
Spurs manager Antonio Conte will miss Sunday after undergoing surgery to remove his gallbladder earlier this week.
Guardiola hoped for the opposite numbers on this occasion before analyzing the impact on his technical field.
"Antonio is also active on the sidelines and is running the team well," he said.
