The matchday 15 games ended with a 1-0 loss for the Porcupine Warriors at CAM Park.

Karela United was given a penalty by referee Emmanuel Tampuri after Kotoko's Mohammed Sheriff collided with an ungainly challenge right behind the box.

Samuel Atta Kumi, however, came forward and performed flawlessly.

The loss put an end to Kotoko's three-game winning streak over the Nzema team on the road.

Nana Yaw Amponsah became incensed after a contentious penalty decision cost Kotoko a 1-0 loss to Karela United.

He shared a photo of the encounter with the description, "The premeditated attempts to provoke me are very clearly observed," which proved to be incorrect.

In a different tweet, Nana Yaw Aponsah shared a picture of the incorrect penalty call that lost Kotoko points against Bibiani Gold Stars in week 13 at Dun's Park.

He used an Akan adage as the image's caption, which reads, "If you hunt a coward relentlessly, you will bring out the genuine man in him."

"It is also very widely documented that Asante Kotoko was deliberately provoked. #Kum Apem an Apem B3ba S3 wo pamo ohufuo a wok)to ni b33ma"

After 15 games in the Ghana Premier League, the Porcupine Warriors have slipped to fifth place with 24 points, while Karela United have moved to fourteenth with 19 points.

On Monday, the matchday 16 games at the Baba Yara Stadium will feature Asante Kotoko vs. Accra Lions.
