Chelsea Football Club's new owner, Todd Boehly, has spent a record-breaking £600 million on bringing in young talent since taking over. With the arrival of all these new players, some old players who have recently been out of form will be sold.

This is due to the Chelsea squad's size of around 30 footballers, which causes some players to leave.

Raheem Sterling, who joined from Manchester City for £50 million, is one such player. Since then, his form has been poor, with only nine goals from 22 games. His Chelsea contract runs out in 2027.

Kai Havertz is another player who has had ups and downs in a Chelsea jersey and has been unable to establish himself.

Loftus-Cheek would consider leaving Stamford Bridge due to the deadline signing of Enzo Fenandez from Benfica.

Hakim Ziyech had requested a loan move to PSG, but Chelsea failed to deliver the necessary documents before the January transfer deadline.

Manchester City take on Tottenham on Sunday as they look to close the gap with Arsenal

Erling Haaland's prolific form at Manchester City hasn't stopped him from studying opponents like Harry Kane.

The team's two most popular strikers go head to head on Sunday with 49 goals between them this season.

And city coach Pep Guardiola said:

“One of Erling's qualities that surprised me the most was that he was aware that he could improve in many areas.

"I'm pretty sure he's watching Harry Kane and not just him but everyone else as well.

'Erling is motivated to say 'I can do better' and at his age [22] it's the best he can count on. Otherwise, it will be boring. As long as we don't stop, we can always improve. It's the only thing in our lives. Never stop.'

Haaland and Kane will collide when Pep Guardiola's Man City take on Tottenham on Sunday

Guardiola's club tried to buy Kane at the start of last season but City failed to reach Tottenham's £150m bid.

It's an approach that Guardiola seems proud of at a time when Chelsea have shelled out more than £300m in a single transfer window. "I remember we negotiated with some players and then we decided, 'No, that's too much' and we didn't," he said.

“When the club decided it was too much, we didn't take them. I can explain three, four or five cases.

Sunday's trip to Tottenham was the second leg of City's 4-2 win two weeks ago as Guardiola questioned the 'flame' inside his club to keep winning titles.

Reflecting on his outburst, Guardiola said the reshuffle was aimed at everyone at City - not just the players.

“It's easy to blame the actors for playing the lead in this movie. That is a message for everyone.

His midfielder Rodri will try to score a championship hat-trick.

"It's about trying to be consistent every three days knowing you're going to be tired and sore sometimes," he says. "That's the mentality of a champion."
