Ghanaian radio and tv presenter popularly known as Blakk Rasta has become a laughing stock on the micro blogging platform Twitter after an old video of his song rapping in Chinese pops up, giving fans the idea of when Songstress Efya classified him as somebody who makes funny songs.
It all began after he made comments regarding Sarkodie’s verse of the “Stir it up” remix of the late Bob Marley. Blakk Rasta added that, Sarkodie is a one way artist and the management of Bob Marley should have never featured Sarkodie. He went on by tagging the family members of the late and asked them if Bob Marley would be happy to feature Sarkodie if he was alive.
“So @stephenmarley @ziggymarley
@JulianMarley @cedellamarley, what's
this new craze of DESECRATING
@bobmarley music with these
posthumous collaborations? Would Bob
have sanctioned this if he was alive
today? Remember what he said about
his music and @BarryWhite music? Stop this!”. He tweeted.
Songstress Efya Nocturnal in an interview was asked about what she thinks about Blakk Rasta’s comment and she revealed;
“Sometimes people should know that their opinions do not matter, let’s just celebrate his success and stop the pull him down”. She was later questioned if she knew who Blakk Rasta was, she replied by saying;
“Who is that? I don’t think I know him or is he that guy who makes funny songs?”. Efya replied.
This reply didn’t sit well with the musician and presenter and he hittted back at Efya calling her a drug addict. In a new trending video, one of Blakk Rasta’s music video was posted by Ghanaian YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon and Ghanaians can’t stop laughing due to the Chinese dialect he was speaking.
Sheldon upon posting the video captioned it “Bob Marley’s PA” and in the thread added “see Efya didn’t lie”, giving fans an impression of Efya’s comment when she said Blakk Rasta makes funny music.
