A Nigerian woman is going viral for her decision to not get treated despite being sick. The woman identified as Dorcas woman refused to get treated because she insists it’s against her tradition.
The news was posted by Nigeria’s number one online entertainer and news blogging Lindaikejiblogofficial’s instagram page and it’s has gathered a lot of reaction. Posting the news, the unclear picture of the woman was posted along with a Facebook post made by one activist identified as Chigozie Effe on Facebook. The caption to the post read;
“A sick woman from Kaduna state identified as Dorcas has allegedly refused to be treated at the
hospital because "it is against her tradition."
Activist, Chigozie Effe, who disclosed this on Facebook, said he had travelled from Minna to Kafanchan in Kaduna, to take the woman to Jos, Plateau State for a pathology test but she refused to go”.

So, after travelling twice from Minna to Kafanchan and made all the expenses for her(Dorcas) from Kafanchan to Jos on three occasion only to refuse to carry out pathology test ? Saying it's against their tradition?
What stapid tradition? Why didn't the same
tradition heal the ailment in the first place?

Some cases just need medical attention.
