Speaking of this record goal, he said (via HITC):
“It was a magical moment. I really wanted to do it [breaking Jimmy Greaves's record] with a win. When we led 1-0 [against Man City], it was a clean sheet.
“Doing it in front of the fans is a special moment. We talked about it so much, I just wanted it to happen. So to do it in a big game against one of the best teams in the world is special.
“When I started playing regularly, scoring 200 Premier League goals was not even in my imagination. It's exciting to be here now and I have so many years left so there will be a few more years to come.
Kane's contract story has been one of the main themes at the club, with much speculation about his future following his failed move to Manchester City. Bayern Munich and Manchester United have also expressed interest in signing him this summer and he continues to be linked with some of Europe's top teams.

But Kane's latest comments suggest he is willing to commit his future to the club, regardless of Conte's situation. The striker's words are interpreted as a strong sign that he will sign a new contract with Tottenham.
The England captain has been a key player for Tottenham over the years and has become the all-time top scorer against Man City.
He has established himself as one of the best strikers in the world and his commitment to the club will be a huge boost for Tottenham as they look to build a strong squad for the future.
