Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola commented in May 2022 that he would leave the club if found to have breached financial fair play laws. The Premier League club has been accused of breaching financial rules following a four-year investigation.
The club was referred to an independent committee for alleged rule violations between 2009 and 2018. City residents are also accused of not cooperating with the investigation, which began in December 2018. .
