Accra Hearts of Oak's head coach, Slavko Matic, said it was heartbreaking for his team to lose to Real Tamale United (RTU) on Sunday.
At the Aliu Mahama Stadium, the Tamale-based team defeated the Phobians with a convincing 1-0 victory in the matchday 16 contest.
Umar Manaf, a former Hearts of Oak player, scored a stunning goal to give the home team all three points.
Coach Matic said that there are still games left to get points, but they must keep up their hard work.
"We must keep working hard since we were penalized for our errors and the chances we missed. Of course, there are still 18 games left, and although losing is difficult, there is still a chance "said he.
But we must go on because tomorrow is a new day, and we must get ready for the next game, which is football, of course.
With 25 points after 16 games, the Phobians are fifth in the league.
