Man who portrayed himself as the cousin of boxing champion Tyson Fury in other to attract women have been found guilty and received a 27 years jail term.
The 31 year old culprit who portrayed himself as “Davy Fury” deceiving the masses that, he was the cousin of Tyson fury was convicted of 25 crimes, with several others consisting of sex crimes. He was also seen portraying himself as an up and coming heavyweight boxer.
David Overton known by many as “Davy fury” began his violent act with three victims after he dropped his previous lifestyle posing as a multi millionaire wheeler dealer which was inspired by the film “Wof of Wall Street” with Leonardo Di’ caprio being the main character.
His latest victims were three women who were besotted with him but he later began controlling their lives before forcing himself on them on several occasions. He repeatedly raped these three women and subjected them to constant abuse after portraying himself earlier as a caring woman to them the court narrated.
Going forward, the court revealed that, he made one of the victims eat farces and even drunk urine while he recorded. He also raped at a hotel following a charity function the attended. He also began controlling their finances and even went as far as using their names to take loans from their banks.
I’m a statement, one of the women narrated to the Chester crown court;
"Initially David saw himself as a character inspired by the Wolf of Wall Street but then he created this new Fury character”.
"What this man put me through is by far the worst thing I have ever experienced. I was used for my money so he could carry out
some sick twisted fantasy”.
'The bruises may fade but the psychological scars never will. Even when I sleep he still towers over me, all 6'5" of him.' She claimed that Overton was a 'monster in size and nature' who
has left her suffering flashbacks. She said the abuse”.
With all these allegations, Overton was eventually found guilty and sentenced to 27 years in prison.
