A heartbreaking post trending online has a 42 year old woman identified as Evelyn Nafula who was gang raped at gunpoint by unknown gunmen to pay for the sins of her husband. The 42 year old Evelyn Nafula is currently receiving treatment at the kakamega county Referral hospital.
According to sources, the two gunmen came to the compound of Evelyn Nafula in search of a house to rent and asked that she open the gate of her house so they could park their car and tour the apartment of which she obliged. In the process of opening the gate, the two suspects forcefully pulled her inside the car and sped off to an unknown location where they both r@ped her Nafula’s 13 year old daughter told the police.
"My mother was visited by two unknown men who asked for a vacant house to rent within the plot. She picked keys to open the house but they requested her to open the gate for them to park
their car inside. While opening the gate the two bundled her inside the vehicle whose registration number was not taken and drove to an unknown destination".
The police added that, upon discovering Evelyn Nafula, the found a note beside her which was dropped by the two unknown men stating that because if the sins of the husband, her beloved wife paid for it.
“Because of your sins, your beloved wife will pay” the husband to the victim Samuel ojwang stated.
The victim was found by the roadside looking dizzy by motorist and was quickly rushed to the oasis Hospital before being referred to the Kakamega county referral hospital for treatment. The police noted that, they started an investigation and a manhunt for the two culprits to be brought to book.
Online users added their reactions and expressed their dissatisfaction with the act of the two men and backlash them to have dealt with husband not the innocent woman.
