There could be another big name joining the list, in the form of former Galactico Angel Di Maria. The Argentinian spent four successful years in the Spanish capital, winning six titles including a Champions League in his final season before joining Manchester United.
Di Maria is currently at Italian giants Juventus but looks set to leave at the end of the season when his contract expires. Fichajes reports that Barcelona are seeing the World Cup champions as a short-term option, although they are not the only party interested.
Atletico Madrid are also interested in Di Maria, who turns 35 on Tuesday. However, he could also stay in Italy as Serie A leaders Napoli are also considering a move for the winger.
Di Maria can play on either wing, although he is often considered the best on the right. With Barcelona already having Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha and Ferran Torres enjoy playing in the position, the Argentinian is unlikely to be what they need.
