Man City boss Pep Guardiola told he has Kevin De Bruyne issue ahead of Aston Villa clash
Aston Villa legend Gabriel Agbonlahor claims something is amiss at Manchester City ahead of their Premier League clash with Unai Emery's side at the weekend.
City host Villa on Sunday in search of a much-needed three-pointer after losing the title race to Tottenham Hotspur last time out. Pep Guardiola's men lost 1-0 in north London and failed to capitalize on Arsenal's loss to Everton.
Agbonlahor believes there could be a problem behind the scenes at Man City after losing two of his last four games before a game against Villa at the weekend. He said on talkSPORT:
"People keep saying, 'Manchester City would be a good fit', what if they don't? "I feel like the Premier League right now, there are no easy games, you watch Arsenal against Everton, they might think, 'Oh new coach, but we've had enough already, [Bukayo] Saka, [ Gabriel] Martinelli, we'll 'get a result', but no, they don't.
"Manchester City, Pep [Guardiola] tried to use some of his extra players, to keep his best player on the bench [Kevin De Bruyne], they would lose to Spurs.
“Last night, Manchester United were probably thinking, 'Leeds at home, no coach, no Premier League title this year, oh, we're 2-0 down.
"There's something wrong there [at City], you look at the body language, watching the game and Kevin De Bruyne's body language on the bench, he doesn't look happy, does he?
"[Erling] Haaland must have thought when he saw the roster, 'Where's Kev? I need Kev, no one else is expecting that!'
