Manchester City have been accused of breaking financial rules in England more than 100 times over nine seasons.

Depending on the severity of the sanctions, The Citizens could be forced to sell players and Barcelona are considering at least three of their stars, according to Mundo Deportivo reliable Edu Polo.

Bernardo Silva is still a big target for Barca because Xavi really wants this player. The Catalan team wanted him last season but could not complete the transfer due to financial constraints.

Another player on the Blaugrana list is Ilkay Gundogan. The 32-year-old could even be freed if he doesn't renew his contract.

Finally, Barca are also eyeing Rodri as the midfielder's profile perfectly matches Xavi's system.

However, we must add that the City case is unlikely to be resolved next summer and The Citizens can keep most of their players, at least for now.

Real Madrid ‘Could Rekindle Erling Haaland Interest If Man City Punished’

Real Madrid 'could spark interest in Erling Haaland if Man City are punished'

Real Madrid could rekindle their interest in Erling Haaland if Manchester City are punished for breaking financial rules.

The Citizens were charged with more than 100 charges of Premier League revenue, sponsorship revenue and operating expenses violations on Monday morning.

City have denied the charges, which have now been referred to an independent committee, but they could face serious consequences if found guilty.

The harshest penalties can cause Man City to be expelled from the Premier League, leading to a wave of star players leaving Etihad.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid are closely monitoring the situation and could try Haaland again if the Premier League champions are punished. Los Blancos are believed to have been closely linked with the signing of the former Borussia Dortmund striker last year, but City have decided to trigger a €60m (£53.2m) release clause in the summer. your contract with BVB.

According to reports, Haaland remains open to a move to Real Madrid and he is not guaranteed to stay at Man City if the champions are found guilty.

The 22-year-old has maintained incredible form in England since leaving the Bundesliga, scoring 31 goals in just 28 games for Pep Guardiola's side in all competitions.

Haaland has scored 25 goals in 20 Premier League appearances, unsurprisingly leading the Golden Boot standings.

Man City's chances of acquiring Haaland will be hampered by the risk of a fine. As a result, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool appear to have moved to the top, although Liverpool's chances of a deal will be badly damaged if they miss out on the Champions League.
