Everton are desperate to sign £160,000-a-week Chelsea striker

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now emerged as an Everton target after being left out of Chelsea's UCL squad of 25. The Gabon player is disappointed with the decision of the London giants and he may consider terminating his contract with the Blues.

Pierre-Emerick still has 18 months left on his contract with the Blues after joining the club from Barcelona at the start of the campaign. The return to PL was disappointing for Aubameyang and he only scored three goals for Chelsea.

It seems he is no longer an important figure for the Blues and that is why Chelsea decided to remove him from their UCL team. The African forward has also seen his market value drop to just 12 million euros due to his recent fights. It will be interesting to see if the two sides can agree on a contract termination in the next few weeks.

Everton are looking to add more quality to their attack and the €12m star could prove to be a useful option in the second half of the campaign. The Merseyside club are fighting to survive in the PL and need to score more goals.

The Gabon centre-back is a proven goalscorer in the PL, and he could turn the Toffees into the final third if he regains his form and confidence. The 33-year-old centre-back has been linked with a return to Spain and Italian club Milan.
