Arsenal can extend their lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League to eight points with a victory over Brentford on Saturday.
While that came before last weekend's loss to Everton, City's loss to Spurs gave Mikel Arteta the opportunity to really heat things up.
Meeting Brentford will tell us a lot about Gunner's team. While there was no hint of panic, the fact Arteta's side has lost two games in a row and their reaction against a mobile Brentford side will send a message to City. If they overcome their recent disappointment and get back to winning ways it will further underscore their title qualities.
The Bees, meanwhile, are chasing European qualification and league form of late.
Here's everything you need to know about this game.
Date, start time, and location
Arsenal v Brentford is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT on Saturday 11 February 2023.
The host is Emirates Stadium in London.
Arsenal squad update against Brentford
Arsenal is believed to have no new injury worries. With Arteta largely relying on the same squad all season so far, it's hard to imagine any big changes coming despite their recent defeat. For Brentford, both Pontus Jansson and Frank Onyeka are close to returning, but it remains to be seen if they are close enough to be there, at least in some capacity.
Arsenal vs Brentford prediction
While Brentford has troubled Arsenal before, going to the league leaders - who have not lost at home all season - and beating them seems like a daunting task. But Brentford has hope after seeing Everton surpass their opponent last weekend by a goal to nil. Seeing these results will be a major boost for the bees but Arsenal too knows that a win against Brentford will extend their chances of winning the Premier League title.
This will be a dingdong affair for both sides but I'm sure a 2-1 in favor of Arsenal will be the likeliest outcome of the game after the final whistle.
