This Saturday, the West Ham-themed end of the week for different Chelsea teams continues in the Olympic Park. Chelsea will be playing West Ham at 12:30pm, and we will have a detailed article about the game here .
The sun always rises in the east, but the east-enders are afraid of going down. They've been playing very well lately, but they're still not in first place. But their recent win over Everton means that they're not as scared as they were before.
This weekend, Chelsea will play seven league games away and nine at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League. The FIFA Club World Cup final between Real Madrid and Al-Hilal is happening on Saturday, and so Chelsea can still use the term "world champions" until around 9pm. If Chelsea win their games this weekend, they will get a "double" in the Premier League and also win against David Moyes's Manchester United.
Since Joao made his debut in January, four new players have joined the team and they're all doing well. This team is different from the one that beat the Irons in September. Chelsea has a better defensive record this season, but they've let in more goals on the road than at home.
The squad needs to start scoring more goals, as they've been missing out recently. There have been some good performances from Joao Felix, David Fofana, Mudryk, and some returning players, so I'm sure that the scoring will start to increase soon.
Wesley Fofana has been out for a while, and it's not yet clear when he'll be back. So, for now, we're going to use Ben Chilwell, Reece James, and Raheem Sterling instead. Sterling has been really good here at the stadium, and we're unsure if he'll be able to play this game because he's getting a bit of a sore muscle.
