On her 101st birthday, Madam Rosina Attoh-Korkoi Konuah, a cherished Vodafone Ghana customer for more than 25 years, received a touching gift: the ability to connect.
The Vodafone team gave Madam Rosina a brand-new smartphone filled with airtime and data and a gorgeous bouquet of fresh fruit to help her remain in touch with her family and friends and her great-grandchild, whom she hasn't yet met.
The moment the Vodafone team walked into Madam Rosina's room to deliver their speech, the atmosphere was warm and joyful, with the sound of a family bound together by love and community.
Director for Digital Transformation and Commercial Operations at Vodafone Ghana, Angela Mensah-Poku, stated: "Since the days of Ghana Telecom, Madam Rosina, an old student of Achimota School, has been a devoted client of Vodafone for over 25 years. Our talks with her revealed that she was eager to meet her recently born great-grandchild.
Rosina was unable to see the mother and kid since they both reside overseas and she lacked a means of communication. Because of this, we decided to provide her a unique Vodafone Package and facilitate a fresh form of communication with her family.
Rosina, who was beaming, said the action was a sign of the business' dedication to honouring its steadfast clients.
Shirley Konadu Kyere, Vodafone's Customer Loyalty Manager, who was present during the visit, stated, "She has been a devoted customer for such a long time, and it is an honour to have her as part of the Vodafone family." "We're delighted we could do something special for her," they said. "She always has a warm smile and lovely words for us."
With over 7.1 million users, Vodafone Ghana has been a part of Ghanaian culture and way of life for nearly 14 years, bringing cutting-edge customer-centric solutions. Vodafone continues to set the standard for unmatched customer experiences because to its continuous dedication to customers' demands.
Speaking in front of her amazement at the gift from Vodafone, Madam Rosina expressed her happiness and gratitude. In addition, she urged everyone to prioritise keeping in touch with their loved ones and thanked Vodafone for enabling her to do so.
Sarah, the daughter of Madam Rosina, spoke with representatives of Vodafone Ghana and said, "She had a wonderful day. She was ecstatic and made us laugh with her tales. Everyone that was interested in seeing saw her display her gifts! I appreciate everything, very much."
A member of the Vodafone team helped Madam Rosina set up her new phone and make her first video call to meet her grandchild. Loyal clients were told by the Vodafone Ghana team to anticipate additional gifts, visits.
